A gen set scan captures precise 3D data of generator sets and the infrastructure around them — skid framing, exhaust and fuel piping, electrical runs, and the clearances between them. Laser scanning records the unit as it was actually installed, not as it was drawn, and does it without taking the set out of service.
That as-built record supports maintenance planning, replacement sizing and retrofit design. Engineering teams can check fit and access before mobilising to site, which cuts field measurement trips and the rework that follows from a dimension taken by hand.
To see the same approach applied across a whole site rather than a single package, explore our lease scan service.
